Role and Responsibilities:
As a Data Scientist – Machine Learning Specialist at Forest Global Training Partners, you will play a pivotal role in enabling our clients to effectively harness AI models and platforms for their business needs. You will be responsible for:
- Collaborating with clients to understand their AI requirements and business objectives.
- Designing and developing end-to-end Machine Learning pipelines tailored to clients’ needs.
- Selecting and fine-tuning appropriate machine learning algorithms and models for various AI use cases.
- Working with a range of AI platforms, including Amazon SageMaker, Microsoft Azure AI services, OpenAI’s GPT models (GPT-3, GPT-3.5, GPT-4), and Google AI Services.
- Preprocessing and transforming data to ensure it’s suitable for model training.
- Conducting thorough testing and validation of AI models to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Deploying models to production environments, whether on cloud platforms or on-premises setups.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineers, AI ethicists, and business stakeholders, to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Staying current with the latest advancements in AI technologies, machine learning algorithms, and industry best practices.
- Contributing to the development of ethical and responsible AI practices within the company.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field. A Ph.D. is a plus.
- Proven experience (X years) as a Data Scientist with a focus on building Machine Learning pipelines and deploying models to production.
- In-depth knowledge of machine learning algorithms, techniques, and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
- Experience working with AI platforms such as Amazon SageMaker, Microsoft Azure AI services, OpenAI’s GPT models, and Google AI Services.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python.
- Strong understanding of AI ethics, bias mitigation, and responsible AI practices.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to new tools and techniques.
- Excellent collaboration and teamwork abilities.
- A portfolio showcasing past AI and Machine Learning projects is preferred.
